The Colorado Authors Hall of Fame depends on members of the public to nominate extraordinary authors for induction.
The Colorado Authors Hall of Fame inducts Authors, past and present, who:
Nominees must have strong ties to the State either through birth, residence, topic of book or by having creating/working on books while living or visiting here. Nominees are judged solely on the above criteria and are selected on merit, not endorsement. Multiple authors can be nominated in a joint nomination, if the contribution for which they are being considered involved the efforts of all authors. Authors nominated, but not selected, in the past can be re-nominated.
ATTENTION NOMINATORS: The strength of what you include on the nomination form is paramount to consideration for your inductee. The judges do not read their books for consideration and will not be doing individual research on nominees. Make sure you include awards and honors and other recognition your nominee has earned. If they've had thousands of reviews on Amazon, please state so. Their recognition depends the merit of your submission and the level of impact their writings and publications have had on others.
THE SELECTION PROCESS:
A diverse group of Colorado citizens and literary professionals is recruited to act as a Selection Committee. The Selection Committee reviews all nominations and selects nominees for induction into the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame. Inductees are announced in March of odd years, and the Gala induction event will take place in the Summer of the year announced.
Nominations for our 2025 Induction will close on March 31, 2025.
