I Have a Special Ask...

Will you join me in celebrating them on my birthday TODAY? In supporting them? No cards, or flowers, or gifts. What I would love is for you to support the Hall of Fame and the Aspiring Authors Scholarship program.

                           
Three years ago, I founded the Aspiring Authors Scholarships where budding authors-to-be over the age of 20 submitted applications for scholarships. Five were awarded. Three of the authors have completed their books. BY next month, they will be published authors.

Several years ago, I founded the Colorado Authors’ Hall of Fame, the first in the country that exclusively inducted published authors that are connected to Colorado in one of five ways to ensure that their legacies are not forgotten. The Inductions are held in odd-numbered years and we’ve hosted three sold-out events since 2019.    

It’s 2024, and I have an ask ... it’s not huge ... but it’s a commitment from you. Will you do one or both to support these endeavors now?
 
1. Join me, if you are in Colorado, and plan on attending the September 16 noontime event at the Doubletree Hotel in Greenwood Village. Add the event to your calendar now. Your ticket cost will be $75, which includes lunch and parking. Let me know and I’ll add you to the list when ticket sales open.
 
2. Would you DONATE any amount to the Hall for my birthday cheer? If you will, it’s HUGE to me. And I thank you. As the Hall and the eventual aspiring authors will.
